Common use of CERTIFIED EDUCATION ASSISTANTS Clause in Contracts

CERTIFIED EDUCATION ASSISTANTS. Both parties agree that teachers have the primary responsibility for the teaching, designing programs, supervising, assessing and evaluating students and educational programs and that Certified Education Assistants shall: 1. only be employed to assist teachers to carry out their professional duties and responsibilities; 2. be under the direction of the teacher(s) to whom they are assigned; 3. be under the general supervision of the Administrator; 4. not be used as alternatives for qualified professional personnel including classroom teachers, librarians, counsellors and Teachers Teaching on Call.
