Certified Staff Members a) For the 2018-2019 school year, the salary of certified staff members employed during the 2017-2018 school year will be increased by the greater of 4.00% or to the salary shown on the Salary Placement Schedule set forth in Appendix A at the step which corresponds with the individual certified staff member’s education and years of experience in the District.

Certified Staff Members. No more than four (4) certified staff members may be absent pursuant to this Section on any one (1) school day subject to approval by the superintendent. The Association will reimburse the District the costs for substitute teachers unless the absence is covered by certified staff volunteers.
