Chairmen’s Committee. A committee composed of the Chairmen (or other nominated senior staff) of The Signatory Authorities, that is ultimately responsible for the discharging of the responsibilities within this MOU. The Chairmen’s Committee formally meets on a biannual basis, or more regularly as required. The Chairmen’s Committee meets on a regular basis with members of the Managing Board of Euronext N.V., and on an ad hoc basis with members of the Euronext N.V. Supervisory Board. Each member of the Chairmen’s Committee undertakes to ensure consistency of decisions between the conclusions and resolutions of the Chairmen’s Committee and his local board and/or other relevant decision making committee as necessary, and/or to any other relevant competent authority, where a decision by the board and/or such other committee and/or competent authority is necessary to give the conclusion or resolution legal effect in the relevant jurisdiction.

  • Chairperson of Committee An Employer representative and a Union representative shall alternate in presiding over meetings.

  • Negotiations Committee H.3 At all negotiations meetings with the Employer representatives for a renewal of this Agreement, the Union may be represented by a negotiations committee composed of five (5) bargaining unit members. No deduction from the regular pay of such Employees will be made for attendance at such meetings with the Employer’s representatives held during the Employee's regular working hours. The Union has the right to have up to an additional five (5) members, including Union Officers, on the Negotiating Committee at no cost to the Employer.

  • Committees 1. The Parties agree on establishing Committees in the following matters: (a) Trade in Goods; (b) Trade in Services; (c) Investment; (d) Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures; (e) Technical Barriers to Trade; (f) Trade Facilitation; (g) Rules of Origin; and (h) Cooperation, including Intellectual Property. 2. The Free Trade Commission may create additional Committees, if needed. The Committees on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures, Technical Barriers to Trade and Rules of Origin shall coordinate their tasks with those of the Committee on Trade in Goods. 3. Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, the Committees shall convene in regular session once a year at the same time the Free Trade Commission convenes. When special circumstances arise, the Parties shall meet at any time upon agreement at the request of one Party. Regular sessions of the Committees shall be chaired successively by each Party. Other sessions of the Committee shall be chaired by the Party hosting the meeting. The sessions may be held by any technological means available to the Parties. 4. When necessary, the Committees created hereby shall consult with such other Committees as needed to address the issues they handle.
