Common use of Change of Joint Tenants Clause in Contracts

Change of Joint Tenants. As outlined in Clause 1.46 above, the Tenants may not re-assign possession or occupation of the Property without the prior written consent of the Landlord or the Landlord’s Agent. In the event that such consent is requested and granted, it is the responsibility of the Tenant(s) to financially recompense one another outside of the scope of the DPS for repayment of any share of the Deposit that may become due to a departing Joint Tenant or to a Third Party. This includes the recompense of interest earned to date.
