CHANGES AND CHANGE IN LAW. 17.1 In relation to any proposed variations under the Project Agreement (whether the proposed variation is a Qualifying Change in Law or an Authority Change or any other matter affecting the Contract which may have an equivalent effect), the Councils shall work with the Contractor to achieve the best value solution for the Contract in respect of such Qualifying Change in Law, Authority Change or any other such matter as described in this Clause 17.

  • Change of Law In this Agreement, unless the context otherwise requires, references to a statutory provision include references to that statutory provision as from time to time amended, extended or re- enacted and any regulations made under it, provided that in the event that the amendment, extension or re-enactment of any statutory provision or introduction of any new statutory provision has a material impact on the obligations of either Party, the Parties will negotiate in good faith to agree such amendments to this Agreement as may be appropriate in the circumstances.
