Best Value. 12.1 The Council has a statutory duty to provide Best Value pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Act 1999 which includes the need for continuous improvement in the standard of the Services and quality within financial restrictions. The Service Provider shall work with the Council to identify develop and deliver Best Value services under the terms and conditions of this Supplier Agreement within available resources.
Best Value. Harrow undertakes that it will seek to achieve a continuous improvement in economy, efficiency and effectiveness (including productivity of the Staff) in carrying out its obligations throughout the term of the Agreement and will seek to deliver outcomes in less time and at less cost whilst maintaining quality; Barnet undertakes that they will use their reasonable endeavours to assist Harrow in achieving this on the basis that the improvements will benefit the communities of both Harrow and Barnet.
Best Value. The term “Best Value” means a value determined through an objective evaluation of criteria relating to price, features, functions, life-cycle costs, experience, and past performance. A Best Value determination may not always be the lowest price, and may include, without any limitation, the lowest cost proposal meeting the interests of Judicial Council and the objectives of the Project; the best proposal for a stipulated sum established by Judicial Council; or the consideration of price and other specified factors.
Best Value. The Government intends to award a BPA resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror(s) whose proposal(s) represents the best value after evaluation in accordance with the factors and subfactors in the BPA.

12.2 Types of requirements of the Service Provider by the Council shall include but not necessarily be restricted to provision of Services that are cost effective, efficient, timely, reliable, responsive, consistent, courteous and give effect to the Council's priorities.
12.3 The Service Provider shall facilitate periodical and regular inspections and reviews by the Council of performance standards and shall, where possible, suggest improvements in the way the Services are provided.
Best Value. 13.1 The Provider acknowledges that:
13.1.1 the Council is subject to the Best Value Duty;
13.1.2 the provisions of this clause 13 are intended to assist the Council in discharging its Best Value Duty in relation to the Services; and
13.1.3 the provisions of this clause 13.1 shall apply in respect of the obligations of the Provider and the Council concerning the Best Value Duty.
13.2 The Provider shall, throughout the Term, but only to the extent of its obligations in this Contract, make arrangements to secure continuous improvement in the way in which the Services are provided, having regard to a combination of economy, efficiency and effectiveness.
13.3 The Provider shall undertake or refrain from undertaking such actions as the Council shall reasonably request to enable the Council to comply with its Best Value Duty, including:
13.3.1 complying with all requests by the Council to procure the attendance of specific officers or employees of the Provider or any Sub-Contractor (or to procure attendance of any of its or their Sub- Contractors) at any meetings of the Council at which the Services are to be discussed (but not, otherwise than in exceptional circumstances, more than twice in any one (1) Contract Year);
13.3.2 permitting any officer or employee of the Council at all reasonable times and upon reasonable notice, access to:
(a) any document or data relating to the Services;
(b) any Provider Personnel or Sub-Contractor Personnel.
13.4 Annual Service Report and Annual Service Plan Where required under the Service Specification, without prejudice to any other provision in this Contract the Provider shall, no later than the two (2) months prior to each anniversary of the Commencement Date in each Contract Year, at its own cost provide to the Council a written report (the “Annual Service Report”) in accordance with the requirements of the Service Specification.
13.4.1 The Provider shall upon a written request from the Council promptly provide such written evidence or other supporting information as the Council may reasonably require to verify and audit the information and other material contained in the Annual Service Report.
13.4.2 If, in the Council's reasonable opinion, the provision, performance or delivery of the Services (or any part) may be more effective, efficient and economic having regard to the Annual Service Report and the Best Value Duty, then the Council may serve a written notice upon the Provider (a “Best Value Service Change Notice”) st...
Best Value. 6.1 In pursuit of continuous service improvement and efficiency, UK Sport will require a commitment from the successful Tenderer to provide management information on the contracted services and to participate, free of charge, in projects associated with service improvement and to implement required changes.
Best Value. The Council is subject to the duty of Best Value under the Local Government Xxx 0000. The Arrangements will therefore be subject to the Council’s obligations for Best Value and the NHS Haringey and BEH-MHT will co-operate with all reasonable requests from the Council which the Council considers necessary in order to fulfil its Best Value obligations.
Best Value. 13.1 Each Party shall co-operate as far as practicable with the other to meet their respective Best Value duties in connection with the Interim Service and the Operational Service.
Best Value. 242.1 The Provider shall at its own expense throughout the term fully co-operate with the Authority and give such assistance as it necessary in any area relating to Best Value and any review initiated by the Authority whether relating to the provisions of this Agreement or otherwise and whether directly associated therewith or not. 224.2 If the Provider is at any time required to take any action pursuant to clause 242.1 it shall take such action fully in accordance with the instructions of the Authority’s Representative and within such time as he or she shall specify. 242.3 Following any Best Value review carried out by the Authority whether or not in accordance with this clause 242 the Provider shall if requested by the Authority’s Representative implement any findings or proposals fully in accordance with those instructions.
