Changes in Regularly Scheduled Hours. The normal work schedules (starting and/or quitting times of employees) shall not be changed or reduced without notification to the Union, unless such notice would unreasonably interfere with efficient operations. In the event it is necessary to change such normal schedules, the principle of seniority shall apply to qualified employees involved. When it is necessary to permanently change an employee's scheduled hours of work, such employee shall, (except in temporary or emergency situations) receive twenty-one days’ notice of such schedule change, unless mutually agreed to by the employee and the supervisor.
