Principle of Seniority. Increased length of service in the employment of the Board entitles employees to increased security of teaching employment provided that they possess the necessary qualifications.
Principle of Seniority. Except as otherwise provided, seniority shall be applied in the following order:
Principle of Seniority. The Board and the Local agree that increased length of service in the employment of the Board entitles employees to commensurate increase in security of employment.
Principle of Seniority. Seniority is the length of service that an employee has with the District. The application of seniority shall be on a bargaining-unit-wide basis.

Principle of Seniority. 1. The principle of seniority shall be recognized and considered for job selection, utilized in duty assignments, overtime and to determine placement for all District employees who have completed their probationary period of employment.

The Employer agrees that the Principle of Seniority shall prevail in the layoff of employees, recall of employees and reduction of hours of full-time employees in the bargaining unit; provided the factors of skill and ability to perform the required tasks are relatively equal. The following application shall apply:
Principle of Seniority. Except as described in Sections 4.01 and 3.02, all applications of seniority as described in this Agreement shall be on the basis of bargaining unit seniority among Scientists within each Laboratory department in each facility. Department designations within each facility are listed in Appendix E.
Principle of Seniority. The principle of seniority is to give preference to employees and former employees covered by this Agreement in the matter of promotions, demotions, layoffs, job postings, and recall after layoff, in accordance with their accredited continuous service in the hourly bargaining unit.
