Check Retention Standards. If you are using the Mobile Deposit Services to deposit items into an Account in the name of a Business to which you are a party, you understand this means the original check(s) must be accessible only by your authorized personnel. For the retention period described above in the Section entitled “Check Retention and Destruction,” original checks shall be maintained in a secure fashion under procedures similar to which Member maintains other confidential or proprietary information. Member shall take appropriate security measures to ensure that only authorized personnel who are fully bonded and have passed a thorough screening shall have access to the original checks.
