Child Development Teachers. For those teachers who have permanency in the early childhood education program and who the District determines to hire into the regular K-12 program, such persons will receive year-for-year credit on the regular salary schedule for each year in the child development program during which the member taught at least 15 hours per week for the full year. That person’s seniority will be determined by his/her first date in paid service as a probationary employee in the District’s child development program. The person will retain his/her permanent status.
