CHRISTMAS CLOSURE PERIOD. Lincoln University has a closure each year during the Christmas/New Year period. This closure will normally be of around 2 weeks duration including Statutory and University Holidays. The dates will be determined each year according to the University’s operational needs, the academic semesters and the fall of the seasonal holidays. A memorandum (the wording of which was agreed with the TEU1) will be sent out to staff in June each year advising of the closure period dates and the various terms and options around taking leave and being excluded from taking leave.
