Meal period means the period(s) during which breakfast or lunch meals are served and eaten, and as identified on the school schedule.

Work schedules shall provide for the work day to be broken at approximately mid-point by an uninterrupted, unpaid meal period of not less than thirty (30) minutes and no more than one (1) hour. However, this shall not preclude work schedules which provide for a paid meal period.
