Common use of City Insurance Benefit Reciprocity Clause in Contracts

City Insurance Benefit Reciprocity. In recognition of the desirability of maintaining a uniform policy City-wide with respect to insurance benefits, the parties agree that fulltime employees covered by this Agreement shall be covered by the same life insurance, dental insurance or medical/hospitalization insurance programs that are applicable to all other fulltime City employees in non-sworn positions and on the same terms and conditions that are applicable to all other such City employees. If the City makes any changes, modifications or improvements with respect to any of the City’s life insurance, dental insurance or medical/ hospitalization insurance programs that are applicable to all other fulltime City employees in non-sworn positions, then such changes, modifications, or improvements (including the cost sharing arrangements between the City and the employee) shall likewise be applicable to the fulltime employees covered by this Agreement on the same terms and on the same date that they are applicable to all other fulltime City employees in non-sworn positions.‌
