Common use of Civic Leave Clause in Contracts

Civic Leave. Subject to the provisions of paragraph 7.01, the Employer will continue to pay full salary and benefits for employees who have been called for jury or crown witness duty for up to one (1) month, and will not deduct any payments which may be received by the employee for carrying out such duties. Employees shall advise their immediate supervisor, in advance, of such civic requirement.
