Rate of Compensation. In lieu of direct compensation for all overtime, shift work and standby (as defined in Articles 16, 17 and 18 of this Agreement), regular full-time employees shall receive a special compensation of 7% of their basic salary earned for each calendar year. This special compensation shall not be considered part of the employee's basic salary for the purpose of calculating any benefits or other premium entitlements.

Rate of Compensation. Overtime hours, as defined in this Article, shall be compensated at a rate of pay equal to one and one-half (1-1/2) times the regular rate of pay. Overtime work performed on Sundays shall be compensated at two and one-half (2 ½) times the regular rate of pay. In addition, IT Staff who serve in the 24 hour “on call” rotation shall accrue two
Rate of Compensation. 10.8.6.1 Any Unit Member on sabbatical leave who has complied with the provisions under which such leave was granted shall receive compensation at the difference between the Unit Member's salary and the substitute's salary, or one-half of the current rate of pay, whichever is greater.
10.8.6.2 The salary shall be paid as determined by the Board of Trustees in one of the following ways:
(1) Compensation granted to the Unit Member on leave shall be paid in two equal annual installments during the first two years of service rendered in the employ of the District following the return of the Unit Member from the leave of absence; or
(2) The compensation shall be paid the Unit Member while on the leave of absence in the same manner as if the Unit Member were teaching in the District.
(3) In the event that the Unit Member posts the bond noted in 10.8.
Rate of Compensation. 1. An employee on authorized jury duty or witness leave shall receive his/her normal gross salary or wage. The employee shall collect all fees and allowances payable as a result of serving on jury duty or as a witness and forward the fees to the district clerk within 3 days of receiving them. If the employee chooses to charge his/her juror or witness time off against his/her annual leave, he/she shall keep all juror or witness fees paid by the court.
2. A part-time employee will receive pro-rated compensation for those hours he/she is usually scheduled to work.
Rate of Compensation. (a) Day Shift: Compensation for overtime shall be paid at the rate of two (2) times the hourly rate for hours worked to the nearest one- quarter (1/4) hour.
(b) Other Shifts: Overtime worked in addition to a shift, other than day shift, will be paid for at two (2) times the differential rate.
Rate of Compensation. The City shall pay the Contractor for services performed under this Agreement according to the following schedule: Sixty-Five Dollars per hour ($65.00/hour) for hearing preparation, pre-hearing conferences, presiding at hearings and decision writing with a Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) cap per hearing. Petitions for reconsideration and reconsideration hearings will be considered separately with a Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) cap per reconsideration. The City will pay the Contractor for Training of an alternate Rent Abatement Hearing Examiner at a rate of Sixty-Five Dollars per hour ($65.00/hour), with a cap of $300.00 per alternate examiner. The City shall pay the Contractor within fifteen (15) days of Contractor submitting to the Rent Abatement Clerk a detailed statement of services performed and number of total minutes spent in performing such services. These total amounts may be exceeded if the case exceeds the maximum time up to an additional $120.00 per Case or Petition for Reconsideration with approval from the Inspection Unit Director. In addition, the City will pay the Contractor premium expenses in the following amounts: not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) upon submission of proof of insurance as set forth in VII B. infra; a further amount not to exceed One Thousand One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($1,150.00) in the event this Agreement is not renewed or is terminated by either party and proof of insurance coverage for a three year period following completion of the work required is submitted as set forth in VII. B. infra. If after the City reimburses the contractor for premium expenses, the contractor received a rebate from the insurance carrier, the contractor shall repay that rebate amount to the City be delivering it to the Inspection Unit Director.
Rate of Compensation. With the exception of those engaged in continuous operations or where other special conditions may apply, all full-time employees shall be compensated at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular rate of pay for all time worked in excess of forty (40) hours per week or eight (8) hours per day, but not for both. All other full-time employees shall be compensated at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular rate of pay for all time worked in excess of their designated basic work week or work day. Part-time employees and seasonal/ temporary employees shall be compensated at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular rate of pay for all time worked in excess of forty (40) hours per week.
Rate of Compensation i. when acting as Teacher in Charge for one (1) full day and up to five (5) continuous days, the teacher shall receive 50% of the daily allowance of the administrator being replaced.
ii. when acting as Teacher in Charge for six (6) full days and up to twenty
