Civic Promotion Events. Provide for advertising, support, material and entertainment for civic promotions and events open to the general public in the Downtown Business Improvement District. These primary civic promotions and events include, but are not limited to, The Mayor’s Holiday Tree Lighting, Fall Festival Parade and the ongoing Farmers’ Market. The above is not meant to limit the promotion of other events sponsored by the Contractor.

Civic Promotion Events. Fundraise for, produce and promote events open to the general public in the Downtown Business Improvement District. These primary civic promotions and events include, but are not limited to, The Mayor’s Holiday Festival, Fall Festival, and Parade. (See Attachment A outlining Contractor’s responsibilities for these events). The above is not meant to limit the promotion of other events and activities sponsored by Contractor. Provided, the parties may modify, in whole or in part, the Civic Promotion Events through a written supplement to this Contract; and the City Manager is authorized on behalf of the City to negotiate and execute said supplement.

The Contractor must submit documentation identifying the proposed: (1) starting and ending dates of the promotion, (2) commodities or contractual services involved, and (3) promotional prices compared to then-authorized prices.
