Class Representative Sample Clauses
Class Representative. The Court appoints Plaintiff to act as class representative of the Settlement Class pursuant to Rule 23 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
Class Representative. Class Members, Defendant, and the Plan shall hold the Released Settling Parties, Defense Counsel, Class Counsel, and the Settlement Administrator harmless from the costs (including, for example, attorneys’ fees and disbursements) of any proceedings (including, for example, investigation and suit), related to any tax liability.
Class Representative. Plaintiff Xxxx Xxxxxxxxx is designated as Class Representative for 7 the Settlement Class.

This release includes all claims, whether known or unknown, asserted or unasserted, which Class Representative may currently have against the Released Parties, or that may arise in the future up to and including the Effective Date.

For purposes of the Settlement only, the Court preliminarily 7 finds and determines that Plaintiff Xxxx Xxxxxxxx will fairly and adequately represent the interests of 8 the Class in enforcing their rights in the action and appoints him as Class Representative. The Court 9 preliminarily finds that he is similarly situated to absent Settlement Class Members and therefore 10 typical of the Class, and that he will be an adequate Class Representative. The Court preliminarily 11 approves the payment of $10,000 to Plaintiff as a service award, with payment coming out of the 12 Settlement Fund.
