The SFMTA acknowledges that the Union has been certified by the Civil Service Commission as the recognized employee representative, pursuant to the provisions as set forth in the SFMTA Employee Relations Operating Resolution, for the service critical classifications listed below.. The provisions of this Agreement shall apply to said employees to the extent authorized by law as provided in Charter Section A8.409-1. Effective the close of business June 30, 2012, the classification series 9504 Permit and Citation Clerks, 9506 Senior Permit and Citation Clerks, and 9508 Principal Permit and Citation Clerks shall be transferred to the SFMTA/SEIU bargaining unit, shall be covered by the SFMTA/SEIU contract, and shall be subject to successor bargaining between the SFMTA and SEIU for the “Service Critical” unit.
