Use of Compensatory Time. An employee who has accrued compensatory time and requests use of the time must be permitted to use the time off within a reasonable period after making the request, if it does not unduly disrupt operations. Employees’ approved earned compensatory time shall be carried forward from one year to the next. It is recommended that employees use compensatory time prior to sick or annual leave.
