Client Contact and Engagement. 1.4.3.1 The ACO shall promote member education and informed decision-making regarding healthy lifestyle choices, medical treatment and all aspects of the member’s own health care. This education shall include an overview of the Iowa Wellness Plan, including but not limited to education about premiums for which the Member might be responsible. In addition, the member education shall include information regarding how the member can navigate services within the Iowa Wellness Plan. The ACO shall also encourage members attributed to its PMs to receive preventive services and to partake of other activities that will permit the member to receive incentive payments in their Healthy Behaviors.
