This includes completing any tasks listed above, attending required hearings and meetings, and communicating with Legal Aid. If my address or phone number changes, I will tell the lawyer as soon as possible. I will complete the contact information form at the end of this agreement if different from Legal Aid’s records. If I do not communicate or cooperate, Legal Aid may stop representing me and seek a court order to withdraw if necessary. The Legal Services to be provided are free of charge. Legal Aid may stop representing me if I do not provide complete and accurate income information or if I fail to tell Legal Aid if my income changes. I am responsible for court costs and may be required to advance these costs. If Legal Aid incurs cost to handle my case, it may recover its cost out of any recovery awarded. If I have claims that include statutory attorney fees, Legal Aid may seek and recover those fees from any award granted by the court. I have the right to ask and know what is happening in the case and my lawyer will consult with me before taking any action that may significantly affect the case.
