Common use of Codes Clause in Contracts

Codes. The Ship and the persons responsible for its operation shall at all times comply with the requirements of any applicable code or prescribed procedures required to be observed by the Ship or in relation to its operation under any applicable law or regulation (including but not limited to those currently known as the ISM Code and the ISPS Code). The Agent shall promptly be informed of: (a) any threatened or actual withdrawal of any certificate issued in accordance with any such code which is or may be applicable to the Ship or its operation; and (b) the issue of any such certificate or the receipt of notification that any application for such a certificate has been refused.
