Passwords. Passwords are an important aspect of computer security. A poorly chosen password may result in unauthorized access and/or exploitation of Placer County’s resources. All users, including contractors and vendors with access to the County’s systems, are responsible for the creation and protection of passwords and additionally any updates to County Password policies must be followed. Users must not use the same password for Placer County accounts and personal accounts. The reliability of passwords for maintaining confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Always assume that someone, in addition to the intended or designated recipient, may read any and all messages and files. Any user suspecting that his/her password may have been compromised must, without delay, report the incident to Placer County IT.

It is useful to use the approach of ‘Do not write anything in email (or similar technology) that you would not be happy for anyone to read.’ I will not use my school email addresses or governor hub for personal matters or non-school business. Use of personal devices I understand that as a member of staff I should at no time put myself in a position where a safeguarding allegation can be made against me as a result of my use of personal devices. I understand that the use of personal devices in school is at the discretion of the headteacher. I will only use approved personal devices in designated areas and never in front of pupils. Additional hardware/software I will not install any hardware or software on school equipment without permission/ clearance of ITech. (To support this, ITech manage installations on hardware and are the only password holders.) Promoting online safety I understand that online safety is the responsibility of all staff and governors and I will promote positive online safety messages at all times including when setting homework or providing pastoral support. I understand that it is my duty to support a whole school safeguarding approach and will report any inappropriate or concerning behaviour (of other staff, governors, visitors, pupils or parents/carers) to the DSL/DDSLs. Passwords. All access codes and passwords are personal to the individual to which it is issued. Customer and Customer’s Personnel are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of all access codes and passwords issued, and ensuring that each access code and password is only used by the individual authorized.
Passwords. You agree to keep your password absolutely confidential; it is for your use alone. You will not tell anyone else what your password is. You must carefully read the password information in the Pharmacy Network User Guide. You recognize accepting a password gives authorized access to confidential electronic information. If Your Password Becomes Known: If you suspect that someone else knows your password you must notify the Centre’s Service Desk at 0-000-000-0000 or in person at 70 X’Xxxxx Avenue, St. John’s as soon as possible (and in any case within 24 hours after learning or suspecting such loss or use) and follow the instructions given to you by the Centre. Responsibility for Losses: You are responsible for any and all uses of the Pharmacy Network associated with your password.

In the event where Merchant receives a password from Bank to access a transaction system or gateway, Merchant shall: (i) keep password confidential; (ii) not allow any other entity or individual to use password or gain access to Bank’s systems; (iii) be liable for all action taken by any user of the password; and (iv) promptly notify Bank if Merchant believes the confidentiality of Bank’s system or Merchant’s information has been compromised by use of such password.

You are responsible if you or anyone you authorize permits another person to use your password or to access your Account in any manner. Do not use your Account after so notifying us. You will not be liable for unauthorized use of the Account that occurs after you notify us. You agree to assist us in determining the facts, circumstances and other pertinent information related to any loss, theft or possible unauthorized use of the Account and to comply with such procedures as we may require in connection with our investigation. If your access to the Account is blocked or if you forget your password, you may contact us at 000-000-0000 or at the number provided in the monthly statement. We may issue you a new password or change its hold on your Account, although it may not be available for use of the Account for several days. Change in Terms. We may change the terms of your Account at any time. If you do not agree to any change in terms, you must terminate your use of your Account and repay any outstanding balance according to the old terms within 30 days. By using your Account after any such change, you agree to that change. Unless you notify us otherwise, you agree that we may send notice of changes of terms in electronic form. You may terminate your Account at any time by calling or writing us. You must notify us at least 30 days prior to the date on which You wish to have your Account terminated. We may cancel all scheduled transactions on your Account as soon as practicable upon receipt of notice of termination from you. Upon termination you must repay any outstanding balance due within 30 days. Events of Default. At our option, the occurrence of any of the following events shall constitute an Event of Default: your Account balance exceeds your account limit, you fail to make a payment when required, you fail to abide by the terms of this Agreement, you misrepres...

Subscriber shall not permit any individual or entity that is not an authorized User to access the Site or use the Services and shall be responsible for any access or use of the Site or Services by Subscriber, its Users or any person or entity using a password provided by or obtained from the Subscriber, whether or not such access or use has been authorized by Subscriber and whether or not such person or entity is actually an employee or agent of Subscriber. In the event of a violation of the terms of this Agreement or its TOU, Ricoh shall have the right, among its other legal rights, in its sole discretion, to deactivate, change and/or delete the password of Subscriber and/or any of its Users.

Internet, mobile and digital technologies provide helpful recording functions but these cannot be made on a teacher’s personal device. Recordings can be made with the child’s and parent/carer’s agreement on a school device, an organisational device approved by the headteacher/DSL, or a young person’s or parent/carer’s own device. Use of Email I will only use my professional email address for all school business. All such correspondence should be kept professional and is open to Subject Access Requests under the Freedom of Information Act. I will not use my professional email addresses for personal matters.
