Bachelor’s Degree A four-year baccalaureate degree is recommended; however, applicants who complete a minimum of 90 semester or 135 quarter units of undergraduate study will qualify for admission. To be eligible to apply, the applicant must be on track to complete the required units through the summer term that precedes fall matriculation. Advanced Placement (AP) courses for the prerequisites will be accepted as long as the appropriate number of credit hours was received. These courses must appear on your official college transcript or in a letter from the registrar stating that the appropriate number of credit hours was verified by the program. Specialist knowledge and skills Indicative but not exclusive tasks include: the undertaking of semi-skilled work, including cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, washing and ironing, shopping, sweeping paths, minor maintenance jobs, preparation and cooking of meals, defrosting refrigerators, emptying and cleaning of commodes, banking and account payment, organising appointments, assistance with care of pets, and care of indoor and outdoor pot plants.

Master’s Degree Transcripts must be submitted showing the actual completion of the degree requirements, or a transcript plus certification that requirements have been met and the degree will be granted on a specific date. Master’s Degrees other than in the field of education are acceptable only if they are in or relevant to the member’s current subject area of teaching. Examples of degrees relevant to a member’s current subject area would be political science for social studies teachers, engineering for industrial arts teachers, reading, or counseling degrees for all teachers. Approval of degrees in areas other than the member’s current teaching assignment will be at the discretion of the District and will be granted based upon the program needs of the District. Specifically excluded are degrees in fields unrelated to the member’s assignment, such as business degrees for elementary teachers except in response to a specific District program need, and degrees in law and religion.

Management skills (i) These positions require skills in managing time, setting priorities and planning and organising one’s own work and that of supervised employees so as to achieve specific and set objectives in the most efficient way possible within the resources available and within a set timetable.
SPECIAL SKILLS Five percent (5%) of the employees (not less than one person) to be laid off within a class within an agency shall be exempt from the seniority factor when the State determines that there is a need for special skills. “Special skills” refers to jobs difficult to fill with a replacement except after extensive training. Where practical, the State will attempt to meets its “special skills” requirements be exempting the employees with the highest seniority among employees with the same special skills. Management decisions on special skills shall be subject to expedited arbitration provided, however, that no back pay remedy shall accrue to any individual employee.
Refund after Scaling Completed Any cash deposit, in excess of that required to meet charges under B4.2, shall be refunded or transferred within 15 days of Purchaser’s request after Scaling is completed, except for amounts estimated to be required under B9.5. B4.3 Payment Guaranteed by Xxxx or Deposited Securities. To guarantee payment, Purchaser may fur- nish and maintain an acceptable surety bond or deposit in a Federal Depository negotiable securities of the United States. The securities shall be deposited through the Re- gional Fiscal Agent accompanied by a power of attorney and agreement authorizing the bond-approving officer to sell or collect such securities if payment is not made within 15 days of billing by Forest Service. The penal sum of such surety bond or the market value at time of deposit of such negotiable securities shall be the maximum amount of the payment guaranteed. For payment purposes, penal sum of the surety bond or market value at time of deposit of negotiable securities shall be in lieu of the performance bond furnished under B9.1.
