COMMUNITY DISASTER. 1601 Due to the nature of our medical care organization, it is recognized that a major community disaster could require the services of our organization and facilities far beyond those normally provided. In the event of such a disaster, and in recognition of our obligation to the community, Article VII – Hours of Work and Overtime, will be inapplicable during the period that the facilities of the organization are made available to non-members as well as members of the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan. 1700 ARTICLE XVII – NONDISCRIMINATION 1701 There shall not be any discrimination against any person in regard to application for employment or hire nor any employee in regard to tenure of employment or job status because of race, creed, religion, color, national origin, age, sex, physical handicap, mental handicap or veteran status.
