COMPANY ALLOWANCE. This clause shall not apply to casual employees. In addition to the wage rates contained in Schedule B, employees (excluding casuals) may receive a ‘Company Allowance’ as specified and in accordance with Schedule C of this Agreement, subject to the following conditions:- a) The Company Allowance is payable for all hours actually physically worked by the employee whilst at work including ordinary time, shift work and overtime. b) The Company Allowance is paid in addition to the employees’ basic periodic hourly rate of pay whilst an employee is physically at work and hence shall be paid during overtime and/or when an employee is being paid penalty rates. c) The Company Allowance shall only be payable on the basic periodic hourly rate of pay and shall not be payable on top of any other allowances or penalties. The Company Allowance shall not form part of an employees basic periodic hourly rate of pay when calculating overtime rates or penalty rates and shall only be payable at the appropriate rate as specified Schedule C. d) The Company Allowance is not payable when the employee does not attend work for any reason. e) The Company Allowance is not payable when the employee takes any type of paid or unpaid leave whatsoever, including but not limited to leave such as rostered days off, annual leave, long service leave, personal/carer’s leave, compassionate leave, leave without pay or parental leave. f) An employee’s basic periodic hourly rate of pay when on leave does not include the Company Allowance for any reason or for any calculation or penalty/loading addition. g) Payment of the Company Allowance will also be conditional upon an employee fulfilling the requirements of this Agreement.

(e) The Company Allowance is not payable when the employee takes any type of paid or unpaid leave whatsoever, including but not limited to leave such as rostered days off, annual leave, sick leave, long service leave, personal/carer’s leave, compassionate carers leave, leave without pay or and/or parental leave.
(f) An employee’s basic periodic hourly rate of pay when on leave does not include the Company Allowance for any reason or for any calculation or penalty/loading addition.
g) Payment . The parties agree that the decision as to whether an employee receives a performance allowance at all shall be at the discretion of the Company Allowance will also be conditional upon an employee fulfilling the requirements of this AgreementCompany.
