Clothing Allowance. Employees assigned to full-time plain-clothes positions shall receive a clothing allowance in the amount of $435.00 annually, and a shoe allowance in the amount of $172.50 annually, unless shoes are furnished by the University.
Clothing Allowance. (i) A taxable allowance of $3.42 per day (or proportionate part thereof for nurses/midwives/HCAs employed part-time) shall be paid for each working day on which, because of therapeutic requirements or in the interests of patient care/rehabilitation, a nurse or midwife is required by the employer to wear civilian clothes instead of the normal uniform (such requirement or direction shall be in writing and a copy shall be forwarded to NZNO)

Provided that no allowance shall be payable to tutorial staff, staff wholly or mainly employed in an administrative role, students undertaking classroom tuition, or staff who, with the employer’s permission elect to wear civilian clothing on duty.

Clothing Allowance. You will be provided a clothing allowance of $4,000 per year at the Company’s wholesale prices.
Clothing Allowance. (a) Every uniformed member shall be issued on an as-required basis, at the discretion of the Chief Constable, the following items of uniform: jacket, trousers, skirts, overcoats, caps, waterproof clothing, ties, gloves and shirts. The last issue of such items shall remain the property of the Board. A refusal to issue may be appealed through the regular grievance procedure as outlined in Article 14 of this Agreement.
(b) Each member entitled to the clothing allowance benefits provided under Subsection 6(1)(a) above shall be paid a bi-weekly amount of seven dollars and twelve cents ($7.12) in lieu of the following items: boots/shoes, socks and pantyhose.
(c) Style and character of the uniforms and equipment issued to the members shall be according to the Police Act, Police (Uniforms) Regulations. The Union shall be afforded the opportunity of meeting with the Chief Constable, or an officer designated by him, for the purpose of communicating the views of the Union with respect to the style and character of uniforms and equipment other than prescribed by the Police (Uniforms) Regulations. Prior to a change being made in the style or character of the uniforms or equipment, the Union will be advised of the proposed change and afforded an opportunity of considering the proposed changes and meeting with the Chief Constable, or an officer designated by him, for the purpose of making representations with respect to the proposed changes.
(d) Upon the recommendation of the Chief Constable, all damage to a member's clothing and equipment, whether issued or required by the Board, and incurred in the course of duty, shall be assumed and paid by the Board, except there shall be a maximum of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) in any single claim or incident in regard to watches and jewellery.
(e) All members granted permanent clothing allowance shall be paid the sum of forty-one dollars and sixteen cents ($41.16) bi-weekly in lieu of the clothing mentioned in Subsection 6(1)(a), and all members granted clothing allowance on a temporary or intermittent basis shall be paid in lieu of the clothing mentioned in Subsection 6(1)(a) the sum of five dollars ($5.00) for each day such members are required to work in plainclothes.
(f) It is understood that members absent on unpaid leave of absence, vacation, sick leave, or Workers' Compensation benefits for a period in excess of four
Clothing Allowance. The Employer and the Union recognize that Health Care Workers working in treatment programs may be required to wear street clothes. In such instances, such employees shall be provided with an annual clothing allowance which shall be paid on a biweekly basis. The annual clothing allowance shall be as follows:
(1) effective November 7, 2012: $240 and
(2) effective April 1, 2013: $245.
Clothing Allowance. All employees shall be paid by the City for expenditures pertaining to the purchase, care and maintenance of regulation fire fighter clothing and appropriate related equipment not furnished by the City. Said payment shall be Four Hundred Fifty Dollars ($450.00) per year of the Agreement, payable on the 15th day of May for each year of this Agreement. The clothing allowance for employees who are scheduled to retire prior to the following April 30th shall be adjusted prorata. The clothing allowance for employees who are not as of the May 15th payroll date scheduled to retire, but do in fact retire prior to the following April 30th, shall be adjusted prorata retroactively at the time of the employee’s last regularly scheduled pay date. If the City institutes a mandatory change in uniform styles, the City shall pay for the increased cost to the employees occasioned by such change. The City shall provide all "turn-out" gear to new employees prior to new employees beginning shift duty, and shall replace worn out "turn-out" gear as necessary for all employees. New fire fighters shall also be issued a complete uniform wardrobe, which shall be returned to the City if the fire fighter fails to complete the probationary period satisfactorily or to meet the paramedic certification requirement. On the May 15th immediately following the initial hiring, the fire fighter shall receive a prorated clothing allowance based upon the number of months worked prior to May 15th. The City shall provide any required patch, badge, flag or rank insignia. However, the employee will be required to have said accessories sewn onto uniforms. The employee shall also be responsible for cleaning, maintenance and replacement of uniforms, including alternations or repairs. The Chief will give each employee a copy of the required uniform wardrobe, and each employee will be required to possess and maintain said wardrobe. All employees, at times announced by the Chief, will display their uniform wardrobe, to establish that they have a complete wardrobe on hand. Any employee that does not possess a properly maintained, complete wardrobe at said inspections, or cannot show receipts for clothing that is on order, but not yet received, will be subject to disciplinary action.
Clothing Allowance. Section 1: Each unit member shall be entitled to a clothing allowance based upon the following schedule:
A. Items may be purchased from either a bid supplier or other vendor.
B. Items purchased must be in compliance with established applicable standards of the Division.
C. All items purchased shall be used by the officer in the performance of his or her work. Unit members may purchase authorized black, plain-toe low quarter, laced uniform-style shoes from a vendor other than the normal uniform supplier to assure the health and comfort of the officer.
Section 2: The Chief of the Division shall make periodic inspections of uniforms and wearing apparel to members of the Division and shall order the members to purchase new uniforms and wearing apparel at the expense of the member if and when found necessary. Any member who, upon inspection, is found to be wearing a uniform which is unkempt, unclean, noticeably worn or frayed, stained or in other disrepair shall be ordered to change into a proper uniform. Inability to produce, or obtain as shown in the first paragraph of this section may be grounds for discipline.
Section 3: CITY will, by bid contract, provide for the cleaning and pressing of certain uniform apparel to be limited to thirty (30) items per month at locations specified by the CITY. Such service will further provide for the mending and alteration of authorized apparel.
Section 4: A Special Compensatory Time Allowance shall be established with the following provisions:
A. Unit members assigned and working a schedule providing for five (5) consecutive workdays followed by two (2) pass days shall be eligible for a payment for this Special Compensatory Time Allowance. This Allowance shall consist of sixteen (16) additional hours of Special Compensatory Time per year. Use and conversion of that time shall be consistent with language contained elsewhere in this contract and in Police Division General Orders.
B. In the event of a schedule or assignment change from the modified 4/2 to a 5/2 schedule or vice versa, or as a result of promotion or for any hired or retiring personnel, the Special Compensatory Time Allowance shall be prorated on a monthly basis.
C. The Special Compensatory Time Allowance shall normally be added to the officer’s leave balance at or near the beginning of each year. Clothing Allowance and all employees granted clothing allowance on a temporary or intermittent basis shall be paid in lieu of the clothing mentioned in paragraph 6.1(a) the sum of four dollars and five cents ($4.05) for each 10 hour day such employees are required to work in plain clothes.
Clothing Allowance. Auxiliary nursing employees who are required to wear street clothes shall be eligible for benefits under Clause 7.5 upon completion of 1827 hours of work at straight-time rates in 33 pay periods.
