Compensation for Unused Sick Leave Upon Resignation of Employment. Teachers resigning with at least ten (10) years of service in the Xxxxxxxxx Schools or retiring at age 54 or older will be compensated for unused sick leave at the rate of $50.00 per day not to exceed 200 days. This sum will be paid in monthly installments of $500.00. The monthly installment payment will be paid to the Xxxxxxxxx Agricultural Special Pay Plan (403b). Teachers resigning after serving for five years as teachers in the Xxxxxxxxx Schools will be compensated for unused sick leave days 01 to 75 at $10.00 per day ($750). The monthly installment payment will be paid to the Xxxxxxxxx Agricultural Special Pay Plan (403b). In the event of the death of a teacher in service or of a former teacher receiving terminal reimbursement payments, the beneficiary or estate of the teacher may elect one of the following options through the Xxxxxxxxx Agricultural Special Pay Plan (403b):

  • Compensation for Unused Sick Leave 1. Employees who enter County service after July 1, 1979, shall not be eligible for compensation for any of their unused sick leave credits.

  • NOTICE OF TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT 2601 Employment may be terminated voluntarily by a nurse or for just cause by the Employer subject to the following periods of written notice, exclusive of any vacation due:

  • Re-employment After Voluntary Termination or Dismissal for Cause Where an employee voluntarily leaves the Employer's service, or is dismissed for cause and is later re-engaged, seniority and all perquisites shall date only from the time of re-employment, according to regulations applying to new employees.

  • Death or Disability The Executive's employment shall terminate automatically upon the Executive's death during the Employment Period. If the Company determines in good faith that the Disability of the Executive has occurred during the Employment Period (pursuant to the definition of Disability set forth below), it may give to the Executive written notice in accordance with Section 12(b) of this Agreement of its intention to terminate the Executive's employment. In such event, the Executive's employment with the Company shall terminate effective on the 30th day after receipt of such notice by the Executive (the "Disability Effective Date"), provided that, within the 30 days after such receipt, the Executive shall not have returned to full-time performance of the Executive's duties. For purposes of this Agreement, "Disability" shall mean the absence of the Executive from the Executive's duties with the Company on a full-time basis for 180 consecutive business days as a result of incapacity due to mental or physical illness which is determined to be total and permanent by a physician selected by the Company or its insurers and acceptable to the Executive or the Executive's legal representative.

  • Termination Compensation Termination Compensation equal to two (2) times the Executive's Base Period Income shall be paid to the Executive in a single sum payment in cash on the thirtieth (30th) business day after the later of (a) the Control Change Date and (b) the date of the Executive's employment termination; provided that if at the time of the Executive's termination of employment the Executive is a Specified Employee, then payment of the Termination Compensation to the Executive shall be made on the first day of the seventh (7th) month following the Executive's employment termination.

In such event, after the effective date of such termination, except as provided in Section 2.2 with respect to a resignation for Good Reason, no further payments shall be due under this Agreement, except that Executive shall be entitled to any benefits accrued in accordance with the terms of any applicable benefit plans and programs of the Company.
