Common use of Completion of Approved Staff Development Program Clause in Contracts

Completion of Approved Staff Development Program. 15.13.8.1 Course work taken during Staff Development Leave is not eligible for professional growth credit. 15.13.8.2 Where a Unit Member fails to satisfactorily complete an approved Staff Development Leave Program (e.g., incomplete course work, courses with a grade of “D” or lower, incomplete sections of an approved plan, etc.), the District may deduct the number of hours used for the leave from the next year’s leave allocation. Reasons for non-completion of an approved plan or any portion of the plan must be submitted in writing to the Vice Chancellor of Human Resources or designee.
