Component Integration. After product designs are submitted to MKE, the key Components of the design will be integrated by MKE for cost-effective manufacturing to the extent the parties mutually agree. As part of the integration and cost reduction of the manufacturing process, Components may be jointly redesigned or additional Components may be developed.

Component Integration. The whole Robot-Era system shown in Figure 2.1 above is rather complex. In our experience, the PEIS Middleware simplified the integration and configuration tasks: PEIS tuples provide a simple and uniform mechanism to exchange data and commands, and a simple way to define the interface of each component. Robots and components can leave and join the whole ecology at any time, without the need to re-establish a connection. Adding and removing components was, from the point of view of the PEIS Middleware, entirely modular: no other component should be modified. The absence of a centralized broker or directory also contributed to reduce the burden of the integration task.

  • Components Patheon will purchase and test all Components (with the exception of Client-Supplied Components) at Patheon’s expense and as required by the Specifications.
