What Worked Well. The context information about the user’s location provided by the CAM was reliable and accurate enough for the purpose of the first experimental loop. In all the user tests, the symbolic user’s location provided by the CAM was correct. As a consequence, the plans generated by the CPM, which took the user’s location into account, consistently sent Doro to the appropriate location, i.e., to an area close to the actual position of the user. Figure 3.2 showns two illustrative examples.

What Worked Well. The CPM has been successfully used in all the Robot-Era services. The following advantages in the use of the CPM in the Robot-Era domain have been confirmed by our observations during the preparation and the execution of the experimental loop. • As any domain independent, high-level planner, the CPM has allowed us to make the Robot- Era system automatically adapt to different taks and different contexts. The same CPM and planning domain was used for all the Robot-Era services in both the Italian and the Swedish site. • The CPM however goes beyond most AI planners in its ability to model causal, temporal, resource and information relations among the activities of multiple robots. This ability was pivotal in Robot-Era, where different robots and entities (e.g., the elevator) have to interact in different ways. For example, in the laundry service, the CPM ensured that the elevator door opened after Coro has reached the door, and that it was kept opened while Coro crossed it. • The CPM also goes beyond most AI planners in its being conceived as a closed-loop planner: the status is continuously updated and monitored during execution, and the plan is dynamically modified if needed. This ability was also useful in Robot-Era, where the plan had to adapt to variable delays, e.g., in the user’s response. The ability to change the plan in case of unexpected contingencies, and the ability to dynamically accommodate new goals, were tested in isolated experiments but were never needed during the execution of the real tests.

  • Shift Work Shift work is work not in excess of ordinary hours (ie 38 hours per week), but carried out wholly or partly between the hours of 7.00pm and 7.00am, Monday to Friday. Shift work is work scheduled at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the shift. Employees required to work shift work will be paid at time and one quarter of the ordinary rate per hour for ordinary hours worked.

  • Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked Effective July 1, 2021, the Employer shall contribute the Retirement Rate or eighty cents ($0.80), whichever is higher, to the Retirement Trust for each Medicaid-Funded Hour worked by all home care workers covered by this Agreement with seven-hundred and one (701) or more cumulative career hours and fifty cents ($0.50) for each hour worked by all home care workers covered by this Agreement with less than seven-hundred one (701) cumulative career hours. Medicaid- Funded Hour(s) worked shall be defined as all hours worked by all employees covered by this Agreement in the Employer's in-home care program that are paid by Medicaid, excluding vacation hours, paid-time off hours, and training hours.

  • Hours Worked For the purpose of computing the number of hours worked, all time during which an employee is in paid status shall be construed as hours worked.

  • COUNTERFEIT WORK (a) The following definitions apply to this clause:

  • Non-Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked Effective July 1, 2021, the Employer shall contribute the Healthcare Rate or three dollars and seventy-nine cents ($3.79), whichever is higher to the Trust for each Non-Medicaid- Funded hour worked. Non-Medicaid-Funded Hour(s) worked shall be defined as all hours worked by all employees covered by this Agreement in the Employer's in‐home care program that are paid by a payor other than Medicaid, excluding vacation hours, paid-time off, and training hours. Effective July 1 2022, the Employer shall contribute the Healthcare rate or three dollars and ninety-eight cents ($3.98), whichever is higher, to the Trust for each Non-Medicaid-Funded Hour worked. Contributions required by Section 21.2 shall be paid periodically as required by the Trust.

  • Contract Work The provision of goods and services identified in the Contract constitute the contract work (Contract Work). Contractor shall perform the Contract Work pursuant to the terms of the Contract. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, appliances, and appurtenances for the Contract Work in strict conformity with this Contract, within the time-period prescribed by the City.

  • Injury at Work Any employee who may be injured during the course of his day's employment shall be paid a minimum of eight (8) hours pay for that day, if such injury requires the employee to leave the job for medical treatment by a professional medical care provider.

  • Extra Work At any time during the Term of this Agreement, City may request that Consultant perform Extra Work. As used herein, “Extra Work” means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • Move-in; Inspection; Delay Before Resident may access or occupy the premises, any required installments or other payments then due (including any Administrative Fee, which is earned and payable upon mutual execution of this Agreement) must be paid in full with cleared funds and guaranty or prepayment requirements satisfied. The application fee (if any) is non-refundable and is not applicable toward any other payments required of Resident under this Agreement. Prior to Resident’s taking possession of the assigned bedroom space (and any re-assigned bedroom space), Resident will conduct an inspection of the assigned bedroom space and apartment and will note on the Check-In/Check-Out Inspection Report (“Inspection Report”) any defects, damage or other conditions observed, if not already identified by Owner on such report; upon completion and approval by Owner, the Inspection Report will become part of this Agreement. At the time of move-out, Resident is encouraged to inspect the bedroom space and apartment with Owner’s representative by making an appointment during business hours at least 48 hours in advance. Within three business days following Resident’s move-out (or, as applicable, following the move-out of all residents of an apartment) at the termination of this Agreement, or within a reasonable time if Resident moves out without notifying Owner, Owner will note the then-present condition of the assigned bedroom space and apartment, including all appliances and fixtures, and any damages incurred and/or extraordinary cleaning deemed necessary by Owner or extraordinary wear as determined by Owner. Resident will promptly pay all costs of restoring the bedroom space and apartment to the same condition upon move-in, less normal wear. Resident acknowledges that except as provided in the Inspection Report, each bedroom space and apartment are being delivered in "as-is" condition, and Resident’s acceptance of the assigned bedroom space and apartment at the beginning of the Term constitutes Resident’s acknowledgment that the bedroom space and apartment and all fixtures are in good repair and condition. Owner will not be responsible for any damages or consequences suffered by Resident as a result of Owner’s inability to timely deliver possession of the apartment or assigned bedroom space to Resident on the anticipated Start Date; in such event, the rent payable will be abated until Owner tenders possession and such delay will not extend or decrease the term or change the End Date. Resident acknowledges that any model apartment at the Property shown to Resident in person, online or through other means is intended to be representative of the general quality and type of construction and materials within apartments. Specific items of décor and furnishings and the actual colors, styles, materials, upholstery and other treatments in the apartment assigned to Resident may vary from those in the model apartment. The actual apartment assigned to Resident may also vary in approximate size, square footage and layout. Resident’s apartment will not include custom lighting, lamps, decorations, linens, unattached appliances or other personal property as may be shown in the model apartment.

  • Distant Work An employee sent from his or her usual locality to another (in circumstances other than those prescribed in 5.9.4(a) hereof) and required to remain away from his or her usual place of abode will be paid travelling time whilst necessarily travelling between such localities, and expenses whilst so absent from his or her usual locality.
