COMPOSITION OF PARTIES. ‌ Whenever the Employer requires employees for the performance of survey work, the size of the survey crew will be determined by the Employer. The first survey employee on the job site shall be a Construction Site Surveyor. Any assistant or additional employees on a survey crew shall be members of the craft. At no time will the composition of a survey party be made up of employees who are not members of the craft. However, in the event the Employer chooses to use an Operating Engineer (already employed) as a member of a survey crew, rather than an Operating Engineer who is regularly employed as a Construction Site Surveyor, the employee shall be paid according to the higher scale.
