Compressed Air Engine Model. The compressed air engine is an air driven machine, such as a gas driven turbine. This can be connected to a generator to produce electrical power. As shown above the power generated by the turbine is dependent on the air feed pressure, temperature and flow rate. Figure 62 shows the model block of the compressed air engine that was created in GES. Table 40 gives the input and outputs parameters needed to define the compressed air engine model in GES.
