Computation Period To determine Years of Service and Breaks in Service for purposes of eligibility, the 12-consecutive month period shall commence on the date on which an Employee first performs an Hour of Service for the Employer and each anniversary thereof, such that the succeeding 12-consecutive month period commences with the employee's first anniversary of employment and so on. If, however, the period so specified is one year or less, the succeeding 12-consecutive month period shall commence on the first day of the Plan Year prior to the anniversary of the date they first performed an Hour of Service regardless of whether the Employee is entitled to be credited with 1,000 (or such lesser number as specified by the Employer in the Adoption Agreement) Hours of Service during their first employment year.
