Common use of Confined Space Entry Clause in Contracts

Confined Space Entry. Employees working in the classifications of Mechanic, Blacksmith/Welder, Plant Repair Worker, and/or Plant Operator shall be paid a premium of $0.568 per hour for all hours worked where a 'spotter' or a harness is required to perform the job in a safe manner. A Xxxxxxx, Supervisor or Fire Department employee trained in Confined Space Entry shall establish the requirement and secure the necessary permits. Time shall be calculated with a on-hour minimum and half-hour increments thereafter.
