Safety and Health Requirements. Goods and services provided under this contract shall comply with all federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and with all Oregon safety and health requirements, including those of the State Workers’ Compensation Division.

The Employer shall conform to and comply with applicable regulations requiring safe, healthy, and sanitary working conditions prescribed by the Department of Health, Department of Labor, or any other governmental body. In addition, the Employer shall ensure compliance with the applicable provisions of the Hawaii Occupational Safety and Health Law, Act 57, SLH 1972. The Employer shall provide, among other things:
1. When feasible in the renovation or construction of government buildings, the Employer shall endeavor to include in the specifications, provisions to provide, but not limited to the following: air conditioning; cold water fountains; restrooms for Employees separate from public restrooms; areas for meals.
2. When adequate lighting is essential to the performance of a specific function, the Employer shall provide necessary lighting equipment.

The contractor and all subcontractors shall comply with the latest edition of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health manual EM 385-1-1, or OSHA 29 CFR parts 1910 or 1926 if no EM 385-1-1 requirements are applicable, and the accepted contractor’s written safety program.

All equipments are designed to fit the Swedish electrical system. Connections must be for 3x 380/400 V AC or 220/230 V AC, 50 Hz. Any necessary transformers are included. The equipments are protected against electricity failure.

Safety and Health Requirements. 2.5.1 The Contractor shall comply in every respect with all Federal, State and Local safety and health regulations. Copies of the Federal Regulations may be obtained from the U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
2.5.2 The Contractor shall, when required, furnish evidence satisfactory to the Project Manager that materials and methods are in accordance with such standards or codes, copies of which shall be supplied on site by the Contractor.
2.5.3 Flaggers shall be GA DOT certified and shall have a current card in possession at all times while performing flagging operations. Reflective safety vests should be worn by flaggers and by workers while working in road.

Contractor warrants that it shall perform the Services in accordance with all applicable federal and State health and safety standards, including but not limited to, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OROSHA).

B. Provide for the availability of medical services and accessibility of first aid kits. Telephone numbers of doctors, hospitals, and ambulances shall be conspicuously posted.
