Conservation and Recycling. The park currently offers basic recycling (bottles and cans). The District proposes to expand this to include paper and plastic. The District also proposes to add green waste composting, as well as a drop off location for used batteries. In addition, the products sold at the park will, to the extent feasible, avoid one-use disposable containers, non-recyclable and/or non-compostable materials, and/or unnecessary packaging. Recycling instructions and buckets for compostable materials will be issued to campers at the kiosk as they enter the park. This system was implemented at Skyline Wilderness Park in 2010, and has been very well received.

Conservation and Recycling. The Contractor is urged to purchase and promote the use of environmentally friendly post-consumer waste products. In addition, the Contractor is encouraged to recycle food, packaging, and other items to the extent that there are available markets and outlets for the products and which meet state and local sanitation and safety regulations. Cardboard boxes are to be broken down before being placed in designated recycling bins. Cans are to be washed and flattened before being placed in designated recycling bins. All glass products are to be recycled.

  • Conservation Tenant hereby agrees to comply with all energy conservation procedures, controls and requirements instituted by Landlord pursuant to any government regulations or otherwise, including but not limited to controls on the permitted range of temperatures, the volume of energy consumption or the hours of operation of the Building. Institution by Landlord of such controls and requirements shall not entitle Tenant to terminate this Lease or to an abatement of any Rent payable hereunder.

  • Recycling If this Agreement provides for the purchase or use of goods specified in PCC 12207 (for example, certain paper products, office supplies, mulch, glass products, lubricating oils, plastic products, paint, antifreeze, tires and tire-derived products, and metal products), this section is applicable with respect to those goods. Without limiting the foregoing, if this Agreement includes (i) document printing, (ii) parts cleaning, or (iii) janitorial and building maintenance services, this section is applicable. Contractor shall use recycled products in the performance of this Agreement to the maximum extent doing so is economically feasible. Upon request, Contractor shall certify in writing under penalty of perjury, the minimum, if not exact, percentage of post consumer material as defined in the PCC 12200, in such goods regardless of whether the goods meet the requirements of PCC 12209. With respect to printer or duplication cartridges that comply with the requirements of PCC 12156(e), the certification required by this subdivision shall specify that the cartridges so comply.

  • Resource Conservation Chapter 5 of the San Francisco Environment Code (“Resource Conservation”) is incorporated herein by reference. Failure by Contractor to comply with any of the applicable requirements of Chapter 5 will be deemed a material breach of contract.

  • Rehabilitation Act Subrecipient agrees to comply with any federal regulations issued pursuant to compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, (29 U.S.C. 706) which prohibits discrimination against the handicapped in any federally assisted program.   • Solid Waste Management General. The Airport is required by city ordinance to achieve a solid waste recycling rate of 75% by 2012 and 100% by 2020. Tenants are required to cooperate with the Airport to maximize the rate of solid waste recycling and source separation. Airport’s Work. The Airport will supply specially designed solid waste containers for depositing paper, bottles and cans, and general trash in the public areas of the terminal including Tenant public areas. The Airport will provide waste containers for public disposal of food waste and compostable serviceware in the vicinity of Food and Beverage leaseholds. Tenant’s Work. Tenants are required to collect the solid waste generated in back offices in containers designated for paper, bottles& cans, and general trash and deposit the content of each container in the designated bins at collection areas. All Food and Beverage Concessions are required to collect food waste and compostable serviceware in separate containers and deposit the contents in designated compostable materials bins at collection areas.

  • COMPLIANCE WITH ENERGY POLICY AND CONSERVATION ACT Contractor certifies that Contractor will be in compliance with mandatory standards and policies relating to energy efficiency which are contained in the state energy conservation plan issued in compliance with the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (Pub.   • Resourcing 5.1. NHS England may, at its discretion provide support or staff to the CCG.
