Consideration of Otherwise Ineligible Bidders for Probation Officer Vacancies. All vacant Probation Officer positions shall be filled in accordance with the criteria in Subsection 20.2.G (Selection Criteria for Probation Officer Vacancies) immediately above by an employee who has requested to be reassigned to the position. However, if the Department considers candidates with less than the required time in an assignment pursuant to subsection 20.2 (Voluntary Reassignment – Probation Officers) paragraph E (Order of Candidate Consideration) subparagraph 2 above the needs of the Department will be the primary factor.
