Consolidation of Firefighter I and II Classifications. The State and the Union will form a joint labor management committee to explore consolidating the firefighter classifications and for creating a new classification of firefighter (FF I and II) with a deep class concept. This Committee shall be comprised of two (2) management representatives and two (2) union representatives, and will evaluate the options for and feasibility of firefighter classification (FF I and II) consolidation and/or firefighters deep class. The committee shall meet on an as-needed basis.

  • JOB CLASSIFICATION AND RECLASSIFICATION 26.01 In order to ensure the appropriate classification of jobs listed under Schedule "A" of the collective agreement, the Parties agree that matters related to the classification of new or existing jobs shall be dealt with in accordance with the Joint Job Evaluation Manual of Procedures forming part of this collective agreement.
