CLASSIFICATION AND WAGES. 21.01 The Job Classifications and applicable Wage Rates under this agreement are set forth at Appendix “A” (attached). 21.02 Wages will be calculated over a seven day period beginning on Sunday and ending at the end of the employee’s regularly scheduled shift on Saturday. Wages will normally be available to employees by the Thursday following the end of the pay period. Employees will be advised prior to any changes to this schedule. Employees will be paid by direct deposit to the employee’s bank account and will receive a pay stub outlining the employee’s gross and net pay and deductions. 21.03 A shift premium is provided to all employees working on the afternoon and midnight shift. The shift premium is $1.00 per hour for the afternoon shift and $1.25 per hour for the midnight shift. 21.04 Employees will be paid a shift premium when the employee is working overtime hours outside of their regularly scheduled shift and the employee is required to start early or required to stay late. An employee who works on the midnight shift shall be paid the $1.25 shift premium for starting early or staying late. An employee who works on the day shift shall be paid the $1.25 shift premium for starting early and the $1.00 shift premium for staying late. An employee who works on the afternoon shift shall be paid the $1.00 shift premium for starting early and the $1.25 shift premium for staying late. CLASSIFICATION AND WAGES. A) CLASSIFICATIONS 1. Buildings are classified as A, B or C buildings, according to the following definitions: (a) Class A building – gross area of more than 280,000 square feet. (b) Class B building – gross area of more than 120,000 and not over 280,000 square feet. (c) Class C building – gross area of less than 120,000 square feet. 2. Gross area of a LOFT building is the sum total of areas existing on the various floors of a loft building, including the basement space, but excluding that portion of the penthouse used for the machinery and appurtenances of the building and that portion of the basement used for the public utilities and general operation of the property. Gross area of an entire floor shall be computed by measuring from the inside plaster surfaces of all exterior walls of space encompassed in a tenant’s premises, including columns, corridors, toilets, slop sinks, elevator shafts, etc., except that space reserved for the fire tower court. 3. Gross area of an OFFICE building is the sum total of areas existing on the various floors of the building, including the basement space, but excluding that portion of the penthouse used for machinery and appurtenances of the building and that portion of the basement used for the public utilities and general operation of the property. Gross area of an entire floor shall be computed by measuring from the inside plaster surfaces of all exterior walls of space used by the tenant on the floor, including columns and corridors, but excluding toilets, xxxxxx’x closets, slop sinks, elevator shafts, stairs, fire towers, vents, pipe shafts, meter closets, flues and stacks, and any vertical shafts and their enclosing walls. No deductions shall be made for columns, pilasters or projections necessary to the building.
CLASSIFICATION AND WAGES. Articles 37.01, 37.02, and 37.03 b) apply only. The classification plan and the salary scales provided in Appendix A and Appendix B apply. The Temporary Employee or Seasonal Employee who has completed the equivalent of one thousand eight-hundred and twenty-seven (1 827) hours worked is entitled to a step advance. However, the Job Class is determined by the position or the function for which the Temporary Employee or Seasonal Employee is recalled or hired.
CLASSIFICATION AND WAGES. Section 1. The classifications and rates of pay are attached to this Agreement and will continue in effect for the duration of this Agreement. Section 2. Employees temporarily assigned to work in a classification other than their current classification will continue to be paid the rate of pay for their current classification. Section 3. Management personnel may perform bargaining unit work when training, investigating, testing, and in emergencies, or situations in which no qualified bargaining unit employee is available to do the job required. Section 4. If a full-time employee is demoted, through no fault of their own, from their regular classification, the employee will receive the higher rate of pay for a period of one (1) week for each full year of service at the previous classification, at the time assigned to the lower classification. There will be no pyramiding of rate retention under this Article.

CLASSIFICATION AND WAGES. 37.01 Pay cheques are given to Employees on Thursday every two weeks. However, should the pay day fall on a holiday, pay cheques will be distributed no later than the preceding workday. 37.02 In the event of a permanent termination of employment, the University remits, at the time of departure, to the Employee who has made the request at least six (6) working days in advance, all salaries and vacation indemnities due to her/him, as well as a statement indicating all amounts owing from all other fringe benefits. 37.03 a) The Parties agree that the classification plan and the salary scales in Appendix A, Appendix A.1 and Appendix B of the present Collective Agreement, as well as the mechanisms provided in the present Collective Agreement, apply to all Employees.
CLASSIFICATION AND WAGES. ‌ 20.1 Employees shall be paid the following minimum scale of wages. Employees may receive compensation in excess of the minimum at the discretion of their Employer: 20.2 Premium pay of six percent (6%) per week over the above classification shall be paid by the Employer when they place an employee in charge of the office. The premium pay shall be paid only during the time that the employee is specifically placed in charge. 20.3 The wages specified above are minimum wages and are not to be considered as restricting the Employer from giving or the employees from receiving any additional compensation so long as the minimum wage is maintained.
