Common use of Constructability Analysis Clause in Contracts

Constructability Analysis. Construction Manager shall, throughout the Project, analyze the: (i) feasibility of construction methods; (ii) availability and selection of Materials, building systems, and equipment (iii) availability of labor; and (iv) time requirements for procurement and construction. Based on its analysis, Construction Manager shall deliver, and meet with Owner Parties to discuss, its formal opinion of the constructability of the major systems and components of the Work, promptly after Design Professional issues the Schematic Design Documents and the Construction Drawings and Specifications and in accordance with the Project Schedule. Construction Manager’s formal opinion shall include a review of the types and quantities of labor required for the Work and its availability and shall include recommendations to minimize adverse effects of labor shortages.
