Common use of Constructability Reviews Clause in Contracts

Constructability Reviews. 3.3.1. It is contemplated that the Contractor will have met with representatives of the Department and the A/E as well as other stakeholders to better develop the Department’s requirements for the Project following contract award. During the Preconstruction Phase, the Contractor will be required to provide constructability reviews of the design documents for the Project. 3.3.2. The Contractor shall meet with the representatives of the Department, A/E and Client Agency throughout the Preconstruction Phase as the design progresses and these and other stakeholders provide input in and approve the design direction at appropriate times. The GMP Basis Documents, and all interim design submissions shall be subject to review and approval by the Department, and the Contractor shall be required to provide input on these documents to address concerns raised by the Department and/or other project stakeholders and such reviews shall not entitle the Contractor to an increase in the Preconstruction Fee.
