Construction by the State Clause Samples

The 'Construction by the State' clause defines the rules for how the terms of a contract or agreement are to be interpreted by the state or its representatives. Typically, this clause clarifies that any ambiguities or uncertainties in the contract language will be resolved according to the state's interpretation, rather than that of the other party. For example, if a dispute arises over the meaning of a provision, the state's understanding will prevail. This clause ensures consistency in interpretation and helps prevent disputes by establishing a clear authority for resolving ambiguities.
