Construction of System; Subcontractors. Section 2.1.1 During the Construction Period, System Owner (or its Subcontractors) shall design, engineer, procure, install, construct, service, test, interconnect and start-up the System at the Site (collectively, the "Work"), consistent with the technical specifications set forth in Exhibit B and the Exeter Township School District specific terms set forth in Exhibit A1 in a good and workmanlike manner and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Exhibit E sets forth the proposed construction schedule for the Work. Section 2.1.2 Without limiting System Owner's liability or obligations under this Agreement, System Owner may engage experienced Subcontractors to meet any obligation under this Agreement. Any Subcontractors engaged by System Owner to perform any portion of the Work shall have all licenses and registrations required to perform the services to be performed by such Subcontractor in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, and any such contractors shall maintain insurance as required pursuant to Section 16.1. Upon request, System Owner shall provide Host Customer with evidence that any Subcontractors have obtained insurance as required pursuant to Section 16.1.

  • Selection of Subcontractors, Procurement of Materials and Leasing of Equipment The contractor shall not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurement of materials and leases of equipment. The contractor shall take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure nondiscrimination in the administration of this contract. a.   • Vendor’s Subcontractors TIPS recognizes that many vendors operate in the open market through the use of subcontractors. For that reason, TIPS permits Vendor to utilize subcontractors as authorized and permitted by the TIPS Member Customer. However, all purchase documents must include: (1) Vendor’s Name, as known to TIPS, and; (2) Vendor’s TIPS Contract Name and Number under which it is making the TIPS Sale.   • Subcontractors The Contractor will not subcontract any work under the Contract without prior written consent of the Department. The Contractor is fully responsible for satisfactory completion of all its subcontracted work. The Department supports diversity in its procurements and contracts, and requests that the Contractor offer subcontracting opportunities to certified woman-, veteran-, and minority-owned small businesses. The Contractor may contact the OSD at xxxxxxx@xxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx for information on certified small business enterprises available for subcontracting opportunities.

  • Contractor’s Project Manager 7.2.1 The Contractor’s Project Manager is designated in Exhibit F (Contractor’s Administration). The Contractor shall notify the County in writing of any change in the name or address of the Contractor’s Project Manager. 7.2.2 The Contractor’s Project Manager shall be responsible for the Contractor’s day-to-day activities as related to this Contract and shall meet and coordinate with County’s Project Manager and County’s Contract Project Monitor on a regular basis.

  • Contractor’s Equipment Payment for required equipment owned by the Construction Manager or an affiliate of the Construction Manager will be based solely on an hourly rate derived by dividing the current appropriate monthly rate by 176 hours. No payment will be made under any circumstances for repair costs, freight and transportation charges, fuel, lubricants, insurance, any other costs and expenses, or overhead and profit. Payment for such equipment made idle by delays attributable to the Government will be based on one-half the derived hourly rate under this subsection.

  • System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades Connecting Transmission Owner shall design, procure, construct, install, and own the System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades described in Appendix A hereto. The responsibility of the Developer for costs related to System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of Attachment S to the NYISO OATT.

  • Contractor’s Project Manager and Key Personnel Contractor shall appoint a Project Manager to direct the Contractor’s efforts in fulfilling Contractor’s obligations under this Contract. This Project Manager shall be subject to approval by the County and shall not be changed without the written consent of the County’s Project Manager, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. The Contractor’s Project Manager shall be assigned to this project for the duration of the Contract and shall diligently pursue all work and services to meet the project time lines. The County’s Project Manager shall have the right to require the removal and replacement of the Contractor’s Project Manager from providing services to the County under this Contract. The County’s Project manager shall notify the Contractor in writing of such action. The Contractor shall accomplish the removal within five (5) business days after written notice by the County’s Project Manager. The County’s Project Manager shall review and approve the appointment of the replacement for the Contractor’s Project Manager.   • Use of Subcontractors Nothing in this Appendix 2 shall prevent the Interconnection Parties from utilizing the services of subcontractors as they deem appropriate to perform their respective obligations hereunder, provided, however, that each Interconnection Party shall require its subcontractors to comply with all applicable terms and conditions of this Appendix 2 in providing such services.
