Consultant Not Employee or Agent. The Consultant and its employees, agents, representatives, or sub-consultants/ subcontractors are not employees of the Department and are not entitled to the benefits of State of Florida employees. Except to the extent expressly authorized herein, Consultant and its employees, agents, representatives, or sub-consultants/subcontractors are not agents of the Department or the State for any purpose or authority such as to bind or represent the interests thereof, and shall not represent that it is an agent or that it is acting on the behalf of the Department or the State. The Department shall not be bound by any unauthorized acts or conduct of Consultant.
