Replacement Employee. Should a replacement Employee be engaged, the replacement Employee is to be informed prior to engagement of the fixed term nature of the employment and of the rights of the Employee, who is being replaced, including that the engagement may be subject to variation according to 6.10.3 (d) and ability to extend unpaid Maternity Leave as provided for under sub-clause 6.10.10.
Replacement Employee. Prior to engaging a replacement employee the employer shall inform the person of the temporary nature of the employment and the entitlements relating to the return to work of the employee on parental leave.
Replacement Employee. (a) A replacement employee is a person engaged for a fixed period of time as notified in a letter of appointment. For example, to replace an employee absent from work due to parental or long service leave.
(b) The replacement employee is entitled to pro-rata payment for annual leave, non-term time and public holidays.
Replacement Employee. An employee appointed by the employer to replace continuing or term employees on leaves of absence of not less than four (4) months and not more than twelve (12) months, or to fill vacancies as a result of approved assignments of not less than four (4) months and not more than twelve (12) months. In both cases extensions may be granted by the Joint Committee for the Administration of the Agreement. These employees are included in the bargaining unit from date of hire. The following articles do not apply to these employees and will be noted in each article: Article 13, 22.05(b), 27 -- except as noted, 28, 42 -- except as noted and 43.
Replacement Employee. An employee appointed by the employer to replace continuing or term employees on leaves of absence of not less than four (4) months and not more than twelve (12) months, or to fill vacancies as a result of approved assignments of not less than four (4) months and not more than twelve
Replacement Employee. Replacement employee shall mean an employee who replaces a full-time or part-time employee who had been granted a leave as provided in RCW 28A.405.900. Replacement employees shall be issued a non-continuing individual contract for the term of the leave. Replacement employees shall be entitled to all coverage of all the terms and conditions of this Agreement except Article V, Layoff/Recall.
Replacement Employee. Prior to engaging a replacement teacher the employer shall inform the person of the temporary nature of the employment and the entitlements relating to the return to work of the teacher on parental leave.
Replacement Employee. 28.7.1 Prior to engaging a replacement employee the University will inform that person of the fixed-term nature of the employment and the entitlements relating to the return to work of the employee who is on parental leave.
Replacement Employee. (a) Prior to engaging a replacement employee the Employer shall inform the replacement person of:
(i) the temporary nature of the employment;
(ii) the entitlements relating to the return to work of the employee on parental leave or that employee’s capacity to undertake special temporary or casual employment during their period of unpaid parental leave; and
(iii) any consequences for the replacement employee should the employee on parental leave return early from leave or seek an extension to their period of parental leave.
(b) A replacement employee may be employed part time. Such employment shall be in accordance with subclause Clause 13 – Employment Categories of this Agreement.
(c) Nothing in this subclause will be construed as requiring an Employer to engage a replacement employee.
Replacement Employee. An Employee undertaking work activity replacing a Full-Time or Part-Time Employee for a definable period for which the replaced Employee is either:
a) on authorised leave of absence; or
b) is temporarily seconded/transferred away from their usual work area; or
c) performing the duties of a vacant position for which the employer has made a definite decision to fill and has commenced recruitment action; or
d) a position the normal occupant of which is performing higher duties pending the outcome of recruitment action initiated by the employer and in progress for those vacant higher duties position until a Full-Time or Part-Time Employee is engaged for the vacant position or vacant higher duties position as applicable.
