CONSULTANT PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION AND CERTIFICATION. (a) The design services provided to the County by the Consultant shall be certified by professional consultants registered to practice and in good standing in the State of Florida. Any project inspection services also shall be reviewed and shall be approved by such professional consultants. (b) The survey services provided to the County by the Consultant shall be certified by professional land surveyors registered to practice and in good standing in the State of Florida. (c) Permit applications to State and Federal agencies prepared by the Consultant shall be signed and shall be sealed by the Consultant, as the project's Consultant of Record. For all such permit applications, post-construction certification also shall be made by the Consultant to the appropriate State or Federal permitting agency.

  • Professional Certification The Superintendent shall at all times during the term of this Contract, and any renewal or extension thereof, hold and maintain a valid certificate required of a superintendent by the State of Texas and issued by the State Board for Educator Certification or the Texas Education Agency and any other certificates required by law.

  • Medical Certification (1) The University may require an employee to provide medical certification from a health care provider for FMLA leave without pay when taken for the serious health condition of the employee or the employee's family member. (2) Medical certification may be required to affirm the employee's ability to return to work and perform one or more of the essential functions of the job within the meaning of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), after being absent on FMLA leave.

  • Professional Services Warranty 5.1 Oracle warrants that Professional Services will be provided in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. Customer must notify Oracle of any warranty deficiencies within 60 days from performance of the deficient Professional Services. 5.2 ORACLE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WILL BE PERFORMED ERROR- FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, THAT ORACLE WILL CORRECT ALL PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ERRORS, OR THAT THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WILL MEET CUSTOMER’S REQUIREMENTS OR EXPECTATIONS. ORACLE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ISSUES RELATED TO THE PERFORMANCE, OPERATION OR SECURITY OF THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES THAT ARISE FROM CUSTOMER DATA OR THIRD PARTY APPLICATIONS OR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTIES. 5.3 FOR ANY BREACH OF THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WARRANTY, CUSTOMER’S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AND ORACLE’S ENTIRE LIABILITY SHALL BE THE CORRECTION OF THE DEFICIENT PROFESSIONAL SERVICES THAT CAUSED THE BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR, IF ORACLE CANNOT SUBSTANTIONALLY CORRECT THE DEFICIENCY IN A COMMERCIALLY REASONABLE MANNER, CUSTOMER MAY END THE DEFICIENT PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AND ORACLE WILL REFUND TO THE CUSTOMER THE FEES FOR THE TERMINATED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES THAT CUSTOMER PRE-PAID TO ORACLE FOR THE PERIOD FOLLOWING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF TERMINATION. 5.4 TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND THERE ARE NO OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, INCLUDING FOR SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, SYSTEMS, NETWORKS OR ENVIRONMENTS OR FOR MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

  • National Board Certification A teacher who receives or holds a valid National Board Certification will receive a five hundred dollar ($500.00) stipend in each year the certification is valid and the teacher is actively teaching in the area of certification.

  • CALIFORNIA FAIR EMPLOYMENT AND HOUSING ACT CERTIFICATION Pursuant to Public Contract Code (PCC) section 2010, the following certifications must be provided when (i) submitting a bid or proposal to the JBE for a solicitation of goods or services of $100,000 or more, or (ii) entering into or renewing a contract with the JBE for the purchase of goods or services of $100,000 or more.

  • Iran Divestment Act Certification The Contractor certifies that, if it submitted a successful bid for this contract, then as of the date it submitted the bid, the Contractor was not identified on the Iran List. If it did not submit a bid for this contract, the Contractor certifies that as of the date that this contract is entered into, the Contractor is not identified on the Iran List. It is a material breach of contract for the Contractor to be identified on the Iran List during the term of this contract or to utilize on this contract any subcontractor that is identified on the Iran List.
