CONSULTANT’S QUALITY OF WORK. The Owner’s review of any documents prepared by the Consultant is only general in nature and its option to approve and accept the work in no way relieves the Consultant of responsibility for any specific deficiencies in its professional service. The Consultant’s services shall be performed with the professional skill and care ordinarily provided by competent engineers or architects practicing under the same or similar circumstances and professional license and as expeditiously as is prudent considering the ordinary professional skill and care of a competent engineer or architect and the orderly progress of the Project and in accordance with the time periods established in Attachment “D” and which shall be adjusted, if necessary, as the project proceeds. This schedule shall include allowances for periods of time required for the Owner’s review, for the performance of the Owner’s consultants, and for approval of submissions by authorities having jurisdiction over the project. The identified time limits shall not, except for reasonable cause, be exceeded by the Consultant or Owner.

The CONSULTANT’s professional services shall be performed as expeditiously as is consistent with professional skill and care as well as the orderly progress of the Study and in accordance with the time periods established in Attachment “B,” and shall be adjusted, if necessary, as the Study proceeds. The identified time limits shall not, except for reasonable cause, be exceeded by the CONSULTANT. The professional services provided by the CONSULTANT under this Contract shall be performed in a manner consistent with that level of care and skill ordinarily exercised by members of the profession currently practicing under similar circumstances. These warranties are in lieu of all warranties, express or implied.
