The Consumer Awareness clause is designed to ensure that consumers are adequately informed about important aspects of a product, service, or agreement. Typically, this clause requires the provider to disclose key information, such as terms and conditions, potential risks, or consumer rights, in a clear and accessible manner before a transaction is completed. By mandating transparency and clear communication, the clause helps prevent misunderstandings and protects consumers from unknowingly entering into unfavorable agreements.
CONSUMER AWARENESS. Upon mutual agreement concerning the content and method, either the Competitive Supplier or Colonial Power Group, Inc. (CPG) may conduct consumer awareness efforts at its sole expense.

  • Consumer Rights Care has been taken to use plain language and to give clear explanations in these terms and conditions. If any words alone or in combination infringe consumer rights laws or any other provision of law, they shall be treated as severable and shall be replaced with words which give as near the original meaning as may be fair. Nothing in these terms and conditions affects the Parents' statutory rights.

If the CPI is hereafter converted to a different standard reference base or otherwise revised, the determination of the CPI adjustment shall be made with the use of such conversion factor, formula or table for converting the CPI, as may be published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, or, if the bureau shall no longer publish the same, then with the use of such conversion factor, formula or table as may be published by an agency of the United States, or failing such publication, by a nationally recognized publisher of similar statistical information.
