Common use of Continuation Coverage Administration Clause in Contracts

Continuation Coverage Administration. As of January 1, 1997, Choice or a Choice Subsidiary shall assume or retain, as the case may be, and shall be solely responsible for, or cause its insurance carriers or HMOs to be responsible for, the administration of the continuation coverage requirements imposed by Code Section 4980B and ERISA Sections 601 through 608 as they relate to any Choice Qualified Beneficiary after December 31, 1996, and Manor Care and the Retained Subsidiaries shall have no liability or obligation with respect thereto.
